Real Estate Manager

About the role

The Real Estate Manager will lead the development and implementation of real‑estate strategies that support the expansion of multiple brands across Morocco. Working closely with the Head of Real Estate Morocco and brand teams, the role ensures site acquisition, lease negotiations and portfolio optimisation align with growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Mobilise market‑specific real‑estate strategy in line with overall business objectives.
• Identify, acquire and hand‑over sites for new restaurant units, coordinating with construction and pipeline teams.
• Negotiate lease terms, rental reductions and development agreements with franchisors and landlords.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements for property operations and forecast new restaurant openings.
• Monitor and report on pipeline performance, monthly forecasts and AOP settings.
• Lead the acquisitions team, manage legal and planning processes, and ensure financial viability of sites.
• Develop cost‑effective location solutions, balancing lease vs. ownership, term length and exit strategies.
• Act as the single point of contact for external agents, retailers and potential vendors.

Required profile

• BSc/BA in Business Management or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in retail or F&B real‑estate, with a proven track record of driving real‑estate agendas.
• Strong knowledge of property law, taxes, financial statements and lease structures in Morocco.
• Experience in asset management, triple‑net leases, loan disbursement requisitions and lien waivers.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
