Senior Legal Counsel (Morocco)

About the role

Glovo is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to support its fast‑growing operations in Morocco. You will combine day‑to‑day legal support with strategic guidance on regulatory, corporate and litigation matters, helping the business innovate while staying compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts and provide comprehensive legal advice to business units.
• Navigate regulatory complexities, ensuring compliance with competition, labor and data‑privacy laws.
• Manage corporate governance issues and oversee litigation and amicable settlements.
• Define and implement legal frameworks that enable sustainable growth.
• Collaborate closely with the local Moroccan team and Glovo’s headquarters legal team.
• Expand the scope of the legal function as the company continues to grow in Morocco.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in reputable legal departments or top‑tier law firms.
• Strong background in commercial, consumer and antitrust/competition law.
• Proven track record in corporate governance and managing litigations.
• Fluent in English, Arabic and French (native or fluent).
• Adaptability to a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with excellent organizational skills.
