Worker Engagement Specialist – Freelance (French‑speaking Africa)

About the role

EcoVadis, through its Ulula platform, is seeking a Worker Engagement Specialist to support digital worker voice programs across French‑speaking African countries. The role is freelance/part‑time, reporting to the Client Services team, and involves remote collaboration with suppliers, brands and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the deployment of digital worker voice programs in workplaces in French‑speaking African nations.
• Provide supplier platform training and technical support, both virtually and on‑site when possible.
• Manage digital grievance cases, liaising with suppliers and brands to ensure timely resolution.
• Support the development and updating of supplier and worker onboarding materials.
• Maintain regular communication with supplier management, from program introduction to status check‑ins.
• Gather client and supplier feedback to inform platform enhancements.

Required profile

• Social compliance or labour‑rights background with experience in supply chains, ethical procurement, grievance mechanisms, sustainability or human‑rights projects.
• 5+ years of experience delivering social or labour impact projects within global supply chains.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
• Organised, conscientious and accountable with experience in client‑service delivery.
• Willingness to travel nationally as needed.
