5th Grade Teacher

About the role

American Academy Casablanca is looking for a dedicated 5th Grade Teacher to join its US‑based curriculum for the 2026‑27 academic year, starting in late August. The school follows the US Common Core and prepares older students for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the US Common Core for 5th grade students.
• Plan, prepare and adapt instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate the school’s core values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification and certification.
• Experience teaching at the elementary level, preferably 5th grade.
• Familiarity with the US Common Core curriculum.
• Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.
