Account Manager - End User (French-speaking Africa)

About the role

Rockwell Automation is hiring an Account Manager for its European unit, reporting to the Gulf & North Africa Sales Director. You will promote the company's solutions, products and services to prospective and existing end-user customers in the French-speaking African region, building long-term relationships and driving profitable growth. The role covers overall account coordination, including account planning and target setting.

Key responsibilities

• Sell at senior management and executive levels, showing the economic value of products, information software and services
• Coordinate account plans and targets, and lead Rockwell Automation resources in delivering solutions to customers
• Identify opportunities, present quotes and proposals, negotiate and close orders
• Prepare and present compliant quotes, proposals and contracts, handling objections and managing a pipeline of opportunities
• Consult on pricing, specifications, warranties and product adaptation, and collaborate with sales teams to increase market penetration and ensure order fulfilment

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in an engineering or technical field, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a technology-based organisation
• Local language skills plus active English (verbal and written)
• Driver's licence

Preferred profile

• Additional education in business administration or marketing
• Good knowledge of production processes in mining, oil and gas and industry
