Accounting Junior

About the role

Cypher, a modern, tech-driven accounting and CFO company serving startups and growing businesses in the US, UK and Canada, is looking for an accounting junior to join its Casablanca office. You will help maintain the bookkeeping and accounting of the client portfolio and contribute to the company's growth. The position is permanent (CDI), hybrid, and reports directly to the accounting manager.

Key responsibilities

• Support accurate financial record keeping and ensure compliance with IFRS, U.S. GAAP and best accounting practices.
• Use accounting software such as SAP, Xero, QuickBooks and CRM tools, and enter data accurately.
• Take part in training sessions to learn new workflows and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in accounting or relevant internships.
• Fluent English to communicate with the team and clients.
• Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI is a plus.
• Familiarity with accounting software and online tools is an advantage.
