Accounts Receivable Specialist (Bilingual French/English)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team in Morocco. The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing invoices, managing collections and reconciling customer accounts while working closely with sales and account managers. Fluency in both French and English is required to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Issue accurate and timely invoices in accordance with contractual terms.
• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding balances and manage the full collection cycle.
• Allocate incoming payments, reconcile customer accounts and support month‑end closing activities.
• Investigate billing discrepancies, resolve customer disputes and collaborate with sales teams to address payment issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and drive automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a fast‑paced financial or administrative environment.
• Accurate, results‑driven and proactive working style.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• Calm under pressure with solid organizational abilities.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to support colleagues across departments.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with Exact Online, Salesforce or Odoo (any is a plus).
