Actuaire Confirmé – Assurance & Réassurance

About the role

Atlantic Re – Groupe CDG is seeking an experienced Actuary to support its underwriting and reinsurance activities across Morocco and international markets. The role involves providing technical expertise on life and health coverages, analysing profitability, and contributing to the company’s risk policy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist underwriters in subscription decisions.
• Organise and analyse statistical reinsurance data and issue technical profitability opinions.
• Perform technical evaluations of life and health coverages for Moroccan and international markets.
• Conduct profitability studies for renewal of business.
• Develop reinsurance programmes and participate in treaty renewals, including pricing.
• Lead specific studies and projects for senior management.
• Prepare and consolidate reporting to monitor quantitative and qualitative objectives.
• Contribute to the overall risk policy and technical balance‑sheet.
• Represent Atlantic Re at events in Morocco and abroad while upholding the company’s image.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) or higher in Engineering with a specialization in Actuarial Science or Modelling.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within an insurance, reinsurance, or banking environment.
• Strong actuarial knowledge and experience in risk modelling.
• Excellent analytical and synthesis abilities.
• Solid financial culture.
