Aircraft Mechanic 2 – AH‑64 (Morocco)

About the role

The AH‑64 Aircraft Mechanic (AM‑2) is responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and modifications on AH‑64 helicopters to FAA and DoD standards. The role involves working on a full range of military tactical aircraft systems in a shop or field environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, assembly, and modification of AH‑64 major assemblies, sub‑assemblies, components, and related systems.
• Install, connect, and adjust fuel, hydraulic, lubrication, engine, transmission, and flight‑control systems.
• Incorporate authorized modifications, conduct operational checks, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Direct lower‑graded mechanics and coordinate with other trades to ensure proper assembly sequence.
• Prepare maintenance forms, records, and documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of aviation maintenance experience on the AH‑64, preferably within the last five years.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain NAC‑I T1 Public Trust clearance.
• Valid passport and ability to meet medical/vaccination requirements for deployment to Morocco.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches, and diagnostic equipment specific to aircraft.
• Ability to read, apply, and interpret technical data, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
• Experience with quality control, production, and supply procedures.
