Aircraft Mechanic (AH-64) – Morocco

About the role

The AH-64 Aircraft Mechanic (AM-2) is responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on AH-64 helicopter systems in accordance with FAA and military standards. The role involves a full range of tactical aircraft maintenance tasks, ensuring aircraft readiness for deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, assembly, and modification on AH-64 and other DoD aircraft, including major assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Install, connect, and adjust systems such as fuel, heat, lubrication, hydraulic, engine, and transmission.
• Align fuselage parts, balance and install tail‑rotor assemblies, and rig complete flight‑control systems.
• Incorporate authorized modifications, conduct operational checks, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Disassemble to the point of trouble, repair or replace defective components, and use hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches, and diagnostic equipment.
• Direct lower‑graded mechanics, coordinate with general mechanics and sheet‑metal trades, and ensure proper assembly sequencing.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance forms, records, and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as required for mission readiness.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of aviation maintenance experience on the AH‑64, preferably within the last five years.
• A&P or FCC license preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NAC‑I T1 Public Trust credentials; US citizenship required.
• Valid passport and compliance with medical/vaccination requirements for deployment to Morocco.
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and ability to troubleshoot entire aircraft systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical principles, quality‑control, production, and supply procedures.
