Branch External Sales & Service Advisor

About the role

The Branch External Sales and Service Advisor will deliver exceptional customer experiences in a high‑volume branch environment, providing compliant financial advice and tailored product solutions. You will build long‑term client relationships while adhering to FAIS, FICA and Treating Customers Fairly principles.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, compliant financial advice to walk‑in and existing clients.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Achieve individual and branch sales and service targets.
• Manage leads, referrals and follow‑ups within agreed turnaround times.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Grade 12/NQF Level 4 minimum; NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in customer‑facing, service delivery or client support within financial services.
• Strong understanding of FAIS, TCF and client‑centric advice principles.
• Proven ability to meet sales, service and compliance targets.
