Business Development Manager – Material Handling & Ports

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in the material handling and port sectors. You will create a competitive market position for our existing solutions and drive new revenue streams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the existing sales pipeline while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Screen potential deals by analysing market strategies, financials and internal priorities.
• Locate and engage potential partners, proposing suitable business arrangements.
• Develop negotiation strategies, assess risks, and align new ventures with company objectives.
• Close contracts, coordinate requirements and integrate agreements into operational processes.
• Guide account managers on emerging customer needs and strategic opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and stakeholders, overseeing material handling and logistics within port operations.
• Apply marketing and technical expertise to support operations and client engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2B business development experience, preferably in material handling or port logistics.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to evaluate market opportunities.
• Proven track record in building and managing professional networks.
• Excellent relationship‑management and customer‑relationship skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience implementing growth initiatives.
