Business Development Manager – Morocco

About the role

Mamoru is expanding its financial technology services across Africa and is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the launch and growth of its FX trading business in Morocco. The role will act as the local face of the company, establishing essential partnerships and ensuring smooth operational set‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in establishing the Moroccan legal entity, including opening bank, FX broker, exchange, and payment processor accounts.
• Collaborate with the global operations team to align local processes with worldwide standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, brokers, exchanges, merchants, and payment processors as the local representative.
• Develop and drive FX trading services targeting high‑net‑worth individuals, institutional investors, merchants, and retail traders.
• Monitor market trends, identify opportunities and risks, and propose new projects within the FX payments space.
• Serve as nominee director of the local entity and oversee administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience in banking or FX environments with solid knowledge of trading products and trade life cycles.
• Moroccan nationality.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑management abilities.
• Adaptable mindset capable of handling fast‑changing market conditions and varied tasks.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
