CAE Engineer – Meshing & Model Build

About the role

Bertrandt is seeking a motivated CAE Engineer to support meshing and model‑build activities across multiple technical domains. You will create and modify FEM simulation models, perform validation checks, and collaborate with development partners throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Create and adapt FEM simulation models using ANSA and other preprocessors.
• Conduct validation and plausibility checks on FEM models for automotive, aerospace, and mechanical engineering projects.
• Document results, prepare presentations, and coordinate with customers, project managers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and implement optimization proposals for assemblies from concept to series production.
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration with design, testing, and other departments.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training, technician qualification, or a degree in automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Independent, structured work style with quick comprehension and high reliability.
• Strong communication skills, service‑oriented mindset, and willingness to take responsibility.
• Business‑fluent English.

Required skills

• Experience with FEM preprocessors such as ANSA or HyperWorks.
• Programming knowledge in TCL, Python or Bash (advantageous).
• Familiarity with automotive industry processes and complete vehicle development is a plus.
