Chargé de costing

About the role

ARaymond is looking for a Costing Engineer to support the development of new products and manufacturing processes. You will work closely with engineering, production and industrialisation teams to ensure cost estimates meet client deadlines and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for new products and manufacturing processes, including injection, assembly, packaging, quantities and investment requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, industrialisation and production to gather necessary data and validate assumptions.
• Integrate ARaymond’s calculation rules and tools, and ensure alignment with production standards.
• Support the preparation of client offers, track RFQ progress and manage supplier quotations for components.
• Summarise and monitor project costs, and drive the client action plan.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in a transversal mode.

Required profile

• Technical background, engineering degree (BAC+5) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in an industrial environment such as automotive.

Required skills

• Strong cost calculation abilities and analytical mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using SAP.
• Knowledge of plastic materials.
