Cloud & SysOps / Automation Engineer

About the role

As part of Scalian's FY27 IT Infrastructure transformation, the Cloud & SysOps / Automation Engineer will industrialise infrastructure delivery through automation, infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD practices across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable IaC modules, templates and automated workflows.
• Engineer cloud and hybrid provisioning, configuration, patching and compliance automation.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, artefact management and secrets integration for infrastructure.
• Build automated testing, validation, rollback and deployment controls for infrastructure changes.
• Integrate automation with cloud APIs, configuration‑management tools and operational platforms.

Required profile

• At least two years of higher education in IT with hands‑on experience in cloud, infrastructure automation or platform engineering.
• Proficiency with Terraform (or equivalent IaC), Git workflows, scripting and CI/CD configuration.
• Understanding of cloud APIs, configuration management, testing, troubleshooting and secure secrets handling.
