About the role
As a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) you will ensure that all commercial and legal aspects of complex rail‑transport projects are delivered on schedule, cost‑optimised and compliant with quality standards. You will work across offshore and on‑shore units, applying Siemens Mobility circulars and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Set up the organisational project structure and maintain active customer relationships.
- Implement cross‑company controlling and reporting systems, including balance‑sheet data exchange.
- Verify that the contractual structure is correctly created in commercial tools.
- Coordinate financial status, consolidation and analysis across all company boundaries.
- Manage legal, fiscal and insurance matters between Siemens entities.
- Handle internal and external claims and ensure comprehensive reporting to management.
- Oversee commercial and legal project topics in close collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Control order entry calculation, concurrent costing, asset and cash‑flow management.
- Prepare invoices, monitor cost allocation and follow up on claims.
- Lead project controlling (deadlines, costs, quality) and conduct regular status meetings and milestone reviews.
- Support final project reporting and capture lessons learned.
Required profile
- Proven experience in managing commercial aspects of complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of legal, fiscal and insurance requirements.
- Ability to request, verify and ensure completeness of project information across multiple units.
- Experience in cross‑company coordination and financial reporting.
- Capability to work closely with project managers and external stakeholders.
