Compliance Operations Analyst

About the role

RemotePass is looking for a Compliance Operations Analyst to join its growing compliance team. You will help verify and monitor clients and contractors, ensuring all onboarding and payment activities meet regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review client KYB documentation, including corporate registration, ownership structure, and proof of operations.
• Support contractor KYC by verifying IDs, resolving address or payment mismatches, and handling jurisdictional flags.
• Run sanctions, PEP, and adverse media checks using approved tools and procedures.
• Investigate payment issues such as failed payouts, payment detail changes, and cross‑border concerns.
• Maintain compliance trackers, evidence folders, and case notes to be audit‑ready.
• Escalate potential fraud, sanctions risk, unusual activity, or policy violations promptly.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of hands‑on compliance experience (KYC, KYB, onboarding, or sanctions screening), preferably in payments, banking, crypto, or money‑transfer.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot missing or inconsistent information.
• Excellent written English for clear case notes and client communications.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, case queues, and multiple open cases.
• Good judgment to know when to escalate issues.
• Arabic fluency is a plus but not required.
