Coordinator of Volunteers

About the role

The Coordinator of Volunteers at MyTower is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities that advance community and outreach initiatives. The coordinator recruits, onboard and schedules volunteers, makes sure they are informed and engaged, and matches them with suitable tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, onboarding and scheduling, and develop and deliver training materials.
• Facilitate virtual information sessions and give ongoing guidance to volunteers.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records, track participation and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to find opportunities where volunteer support adds value.
• Build relationships with community organizations, promote volunteer programs and ensure activities align with MyTower's mission and standards.

Required profile

• Strong volunteer management and volunteer training skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in community outreach and relationship-building.
• Ability to work independently remotely, manage several tasks and keep accurate records and reports.
• Prior experience coordinating volunteers or working in nonprofit, community or CSR programs is beneficial; relevant education in social sciences, communications or nonprofit management is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with collaboration or project management tools.
• Basic proficiency in office software such as word processors, spreadsheets and video conferencing.
