Cost Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Cost Controller will support the property’s finance function by implementing strategies that deliver products and services aligned with brand standards. This role provides financial expertise to enable successful execution of brand initiatives while maximizing return on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and market trends, assist in forecasting sales versus expenses, and develop annual budget plans.
• Lead accounting teams, communicate goals clearly, assign accountability, and ensure performance standards are met.
• Maintain finance and accounting goals, produce timely reports, document profit and loss accurately, and address audit findings.
• Monitor tax obligations, ensure compliance with SOPs, and oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.
• Support strategic decision‑making for owners and executive team, present financial results, and advise on operating and financial issues.
• Coordinate human‑resource activities such as cross‑training, orientation, and development planning for finance staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (4‑year) in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• No prior work experience required.
