Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will report directly to the property General Manager and work closely with the Regional Senior Director of Human Resources. This senior leader will shape HR strategy for the property, driving talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the property’s HR strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Lead talent acquisition, succession planning and workforce planning initiatives.
• Manage engagement surveys, retention metrics and employee satisfaction programs.
• Oversee the human capital review process and assess the leadership pipeline.
• Monitor and promote effective use of the myHR system across managers and staff.
• Serve as a change manager for high‑impact HR initiatives.
• Represent HR on the property executive committee and present HR results to owners.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 4 years HR/operations experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and influence senior leadership.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in succession and workforce planning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present HR data to stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myHR HRIS platform.
