About the role
Bertrandt, an international engineering service provider with about 12,000 employees at more than 50 locations, offers a final-year engineering placement (PFE) in embedded systems and automotive software for 2027. Depending on the project, the placement covers topics such as embedded systems and software, automotive software development, ADAS and control systems, CAN communication and networks, trace analysis and diagnostics, functional safety, system and software requirements, and verification and validation.
Required profile
You must be completing a final-year engineering degree or an equivalent programme in one of the following fields: Embedded Systems, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Systems Engineering. A good command of English, written and spoken, is required; applications should include an English CV.
Required skills
The technologies and engineering environment used in the placement include C++, Python, CAN, CANoe, CANalyzer, Git and ISO 26262.
