Entertainment Journalist & Social Media Writer

About the role

Blueclip is looking for a creative journalist/writer to produce entertainment‑focused copy for social‑media platforms. You will craft taglines, pinned comments and descriptions that engage fans and support content creators across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Write taglines, pinned comments, video descriptions and other short‑form copy for creators on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube.
• Use analytics to gain insights and refine your writing based on audience response.
• Research each creator’s universe to develop customized writing guidelines.
• Act as a copy editor for fellow writers, ensuring adherence to style, spelling and grammar standards.
• Manage and engage with followers in comment sections by reacting and replying to comments.

Required profile

• Excellent command of English with strong writing and grammatical skills.
• Background in journalism or related experience (internships accepted).
• Good understanding of major social‑media platforms and current entertainment trends.
• Ability to analyse data to inform content decisions.
• Self‑organized, able to prioritize work across several creators simultaneously.
• Team player who can also work independently.
