Executive Business Coordinator & Biosafety Specialist

About the role

The Executive Business Coordinator & Biosafety Specialist supports the Country Manager and the Leadership Team while serving as the site Biosafety Officer. This dual role blends high‑level executive assistance with responsibility for biological safety compliance, ensuring smooth operations and a safe laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary gatekeeper for the Country Manager, managing complex calendars, travel, and communications.
• Coordinate leadership team activities, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and track action items.
• Plan and execute organizational events such as town halls, retreats, and corporate functions.
• Oversee administrative workflows, special projects, and collaborate with finance and procurement on purchase requisitions.
• Maintain contracts, negotiate with service providers, and ensure record‑keeping compliance.
• Develop, update, and enforce local biosafety policies aligned with Roche Group standards and WHO guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments for infectious materials and perform regular safety inspections.
• Organize health programs, manage Hepatitis B vaccinations and PPE distribution.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting senior executives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder liaison.
• Knowledge of biosafety regulations, risk assessment processes, and compliance inspection procedures.
• Ability to develop policies and lead safety training initiatives.
