About the role

The position is for a non‑principal expert in public, cultural and sports diplomacy supporting an EU‑funded project that aims to boost the visibility of the European Union in Morocco and deepen public understanding of the EU‑Morocco partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic communication actions that promote EU visibility in Morocco.
• Lead public diplomacy initiatives, including cultural and sports events, to engage diverse audiences.
• Coordinate with EU delegations, local partners and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging.
• Produce and adapt communication materials in French, Arabic and English as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of communication activities and provide recommendations for improvement.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum Bac+3) in International Relations, Political Science, Communication, Cultural Management or a related field.
• Fluency in French; knowledge of Arabic, Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and English is an asset.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in public diplomacy, international cooperation, cultural or sports project management, public communication or stakeholder relations (6 years if the academic requirement is not met).
• Minimum 1 year of specific experience in EU‑funded visibility or public diplomacy projects.
