Expert Enterprise Risk Management

About the role

Yazaki, a Japanese full-systems supplier of wire harness, electrical and data products and solutions for vehicle electrification, connectivity and autonomy, is looking for an Expert Enterprise Risk Management for its plant in Tangier. The role leads the Y-EMEA Enterprise Risk Management program, integrates risk management into the regional corporate governance framework and supports business continuity and contingency planning.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and continuously improve the Y-EMEA Enterprise Risk Management program with the Head of Enterprise Risk Management, covering COSO ERM and ISO 31000 methodologies and strategic, legal and operational risk.
• Design, implement and review risk controls, processes, policies and templates in line with laws, regulations, customer requirements and business needs.
• Perform and maintain risk analysis with stakeholders, report results and integrate the program into the Y-EMEA corporate governance framework and EOS Business Process Management.
• Design, implement and maintain the Business Continuity Management approach and contingency planning across Y-EMEA functions and locations, and act as the functional department for crisis management and crisis handling for the Y-EMEA Management Board.
• Integrate risk management into the matrix organization: set up identification, assessment and mitigation processes, advise on risk treatment plans and controls, and update the regional risk universe and risk register.
• Monitor trends, laws and regulations affecting the business environment and prepare initial impact assessments for Y-EMEA and its legal entities.
• Manage communication, training and awareness: run ERM training and awareness measures and maintain the ERM communication concept.
• Report quarterly on ERM performance to the Y-EMEA Management Board and report ad hoc risks and events with mitigation recommendations.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• Professional certification in GRC or equivalent.
• 8-10 years working with various stakeholders and business functions.
• 5-8 years in a corporate governance, risk or GRC function.
• 5-8 years of work experience with a Regional Headquarters.
