About the role

The consultant will work under the Business Owner to design and launch a comprehensive cross‑border transfer and repatriation offering for the Moroccan diaspora. The role combines strategic planning, partnership development and agile product delivery in a highly fragmented market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and structure the transfer strategy by corridor (Europe, North America, Gulf) and micro‑segment.
• Negotiate and secure partnerships with fintechs, MTOs and foreign banks (e.g., Visa Direct, Mastercard Send).
• Lead migration of SWIFT and MTO flows to a fully digital aggregation and transfer platform.
• Contribute to the payment & transfers backlog and roadmap, supporting delivery squads.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, write user stories, product briefs and functional specifications.
• Analyse conversion funnels to reduce drop‑off rates.
• Monitor performance through data dashboards (volumes, migration rates, revenue, market share).

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Business, Engineering, Finance or equivalent.
• 8‑10 years of experience in international money transfers or payments (bank, MTO, fintech, payment scheme).
• Deep knowledge of remittances, corridors, SWIFT, card schemes, wallets and fintech ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of pricing, FX, margin models and regulatory frameworks (exchange control, AML, KYC/KYT).
• Proven ability to structure and negotiate partnership agreements.
• Customer‑centric mindset with solid business vision and stakeholder communication skills.
