Export Operations & Customer Service Specialist (OFR)

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding in Morocco as an OFR Export Operations and Customer Service Specialist. You will manage end‑to‑end export shipments, ensuring compliance, timely documentation, and high customer satisfaction across bulk ocean freight operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day shipments and operational activities for bulk ocean freight, including all sea shipment types.
• Liaise with origins, destinations, sales, and supervisors for forecasting and coordination.
• Place booking orders with shipping lines using the appropriate systems.
• Ensure shipments comply with Moroccan customs regulations and other applicable countries.
• Send Bill of Lading instructions, verify accuracy, and coordinate with depots, flexi‑tank fitting, and truckers.
• Work with brokers to manage customs formalities and prepare export‑import documents.
• Issue invoices within defined timeframes after departure and arrival.
• Collect containers from shipping line depots and provide accurate information to customers.
• Coordinate daily operations, including hazardous cargo movement, and maintain optimal customer satisfaction.
• Control file results (gross profit, costs, revenue) and consolidate operational data for KPI reporting.
• Approve or reject non‑conforming freight and containers, and handle customer complaints with corrective actions.
