Finance Operations Manager

About the role

The finance operations manager oversees and manages the company's financial operations, ensuring strong financial governance, reliable financial information, effective internal controls and optimized working capital management. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the role leads accounting, treasury and credit management, guiding specialized teams, reviewing their performance and anticipating financial risks. It is based in Morocco.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, treasury and credit management, guide teams on quality and accuracy, and manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing within deadlines
• Ensure compliance with group financial policies, local accounting standards, tax regulations and internal procedures
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and authorities, and strengthen the internal control framework and delegation of authority
• Supervise cash management and liquidity planning, review cash flow forecasts and banking relationships, and optimize working capital
• Oversee credit management, credit limits, payment terms, receivables and collection strategies, working with sales teams to balance commercial goals with credit risk
• Identify financial, operational and compliance risks, lead audit follow-up and align local practices with group requirements
• Lead and develop finance teams, set objectives and KPIs, coach staff and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, audit or a related discipline
• 8-12 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial management, preferably in an industrial or multinational environment
• Proven experience supervising specialized finance teams and managing multiple finance functions
• Good understanding of working capital management, internal controls and financial risk management
• Fluency in French and English

Required skills

• Strong technical expertise in accounting, treasury, cash management and credit management
• Solid knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards, taxation and financial regulations
• Experience with SAP
