Finance Trainee

About the role

Join Swissport, a global leader in aviation services, as a Finance Trainee. You will support the Finance Department in daily accounting and financial operations while gaining hands‑on experience in reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in processing supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Prepare and update financial records, accounting documents, and journal entries.
• Perform bank, cash, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate filing of electronic and physical financial documents.
• Help with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up as needed.
• Assist in preparing customer invoices, account statements, and petty‑cash reconciliations.
• Support budget preparation, monitoring, and financial reporting.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Good analytical, numerical, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
