Fraud Monitoring Officer

About the role

Air Arabia is seeking a Fraud Monitoring Officer to join its Casablanca team. The role focuses on detecting and preventing credit‑card and other payment fraud, supporting the airline’s security posture and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor fraud trends and work to reduce the Fraud per Sales Ratio (FSR).
• Detect and prevent credit‑card fraud, staying current on emerging fraudulent activities.
• Prepare monthly fraud transaction reports generated via the Contact Center.
• Develop, implement and monitor fraud‑related policies and procedures.
• Participate in internal controls, field visits and non‑disciplinary investigations.
• Evaluate internal processes, identify risks and irregularities, and maintain professional independence.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure effective fraud mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field (or equivalent diploma with experience).
• 3‑5 years of experience in consumer fraud mitigation, preferably in an online environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in internal control, finance or accounting, ideally within the airline or aviation sector.
• Fluent English; French and Arabic are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• In‑depth understanding of payment processing, including credit‑card and ACH transactions.
• Strong analytical abilities and data‑analysis experience.
