Freelance Linguistics Specialist

About the role

We are looking for bilingual speakers to join Editage’s global pool of freelance contributors. As a Freelance Linguistics Specialist you will work remotely on a variety of AI‑driven language projects, helping to improve the quality of text, speech and image data for multiple dialects of Arabic.

Key responsibilities

• Review, edit and refine translations, captions and other textual content across domains such as travel, food, lifestyle and finance.
• Transcribe spoken conversations and perform quality checks on the transcripts.
• Label or annotate voice, text or image material, including dialect identification.
• Review and correct outputs generated by AI models.
• Assist in localising content for training and fine‑tuning AI language models.

Required profile

• Near‑native proficiency in one of the target Arabic dialects (Emirati, Saudi, Moroccan Darija, etc.).
• Strong command of English.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
