FX Sales‑Trader – Corporate Currency Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an FX Sales‑Trader to join CFG Bank’s dealing room in Casablanca. The successful candidate will trade foreign‑exchange instruments, manage currency liquidity and deliver hedging solutions to corporate clients, reporting directly to the dealing‑room director. The role blends proprietary trading activity with client‑facing services across spot, forward and swap markets while operating within defined market‑risk limits.

Key responsibilities

• Quote and execute FX transactions for interbank counterparties and corporate clients, covering spot, forward and swap products.
• Monitor currency liquidity and employ swaps to address funding gaps or surpluses.
• Analyse market developments and work closely with risk, treasury and middle‑office teams to ensure compliance with limits and controls.

Required profile

• Recent graduate of a leading engineering or business school; trading internships or early‑stage trading experience are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of FX instruments, pricing, macro‑economics and Moroccan exchange regulations.
• Familiarity with professional trading platforms and advanced Excel, with a disciplined approach to risk management.
• Bonus: programming skills in Python, R or VBA for analysis and automation.
