Head of Finance

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Head of Finance in Casablanca. The role acts as the GM's right-hand on strategic and financial decisions, sets and reviews country targets, and leads cross-functional projects to improve profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Finance performance: define long-term country goals with the GM, set and review monthly and quarterly targets, implement the corporate strategy through annual planning, and study the viability of investments and projects
• Profitability analysis for new ideas and businesses, and lead cross-functional projects to improve profitability
• Analyze business performance and KPIs, identify issues and improvement opportunities
• Work with Global Finance teams (billing, treasury, accounting) and manage treasury to ensure optimal cash flow
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual reports (P&L and balance sheet), coordinate financial statements, and lead relations with auditors, administrations and consultants
• Optimize fiscal policy (VAT, IIBB Multilateral Agreement) and improve processes by reducing manual tasks

Required profile

• 8-10 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, audit or corporate finance
• Strong analytical skills, goal-oriented and a team player
• Fluent English and French; Arabic is an advantage

• Advanced accounting and finance knowledge
• Quantitative data manipulation and reporting in Excel and Google Spreadsheets
• Ability to influence stakeholders
