HR Trainee – Gain Hands‑On Experience in Aviation Services

About the role

Swissport, a global leader in aviation ground handling, is looking for an enthusiastic HR Trainee to support its Human Resources department. This position offers practical exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, and HR reporting within a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment tasks such as CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
• Support onboarding and induction programmes for new hires and trainees.
• Prepare employment contracts, attestations, HR letters and other administrative documents.
• Maintain employee files, monitor attendance, leave and absenteeism.
• Enter data for HR reporting, KPI tracking and monthly dashboards.
• Coordinate training logistics, track attendance and follow‑up on development initiatives.
• Help organise career fairs, recruitment events and employer‑branding activities.
• Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying HR‑related information.
• Participate in HR audits, compliance checks and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Strong interest in HR and people management.
• Good organisational and communication abilities.
