HSEQ Coordinator

About the role

Syngenta, a leading global agriculture company, is looking for an HSEQ Coordinator in Agadir. The role supports Operations and site management in HSE and Quality, directs and coordinates the site HSE and Quality management system, and works with site teams to ensure compliance with site, company, regulatory and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day contractor activities and field jobs, including work at height, and ensure they are carried out safely
• Maintain the site Quality Management System, implement Good Seed and Plant Practices (GSPP) and verify traceability, identity preservation and segregation
• Monitor compliance with work instructions, SOPs, hygiene requirements and quality controls, and conduct quality audits, self-assessments and inspections
• Manage quality deviations and nonconformities, including investigations, root-cause analysis and CAPA follow-up
• Deliver quality and GSPP awareness training and coaching to employees, contractors and seasonal workers
• Carry out HSE inspections, compile KPIs and trend analyses, and drive corrective actions after incidents and audit findings
• Report unsafe acts, near misses, incidents and accidents, support PTW and toolbox meetings, and enforce safe work practices
• Write daily, weekly and monthly HSE and Quality reports, and support the HSE and Quality Lead

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant subject
• Experience in functional HSE and/or Quality roles, preferably in seed, plant or agricultural operations
• Fluent in English
• Leadership, field orientation, organisation and communication skills, ability to work in a team and handle confidential information

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft tools
• Technical understanding of HSE, quality, GSPP, traceability and agricultural production processes
