HSSE Manager – Health, Safety, Social & Environment

About the role

The HSSE Manager will lead all Health, Safety, Social and Environment matters for the Noor Midelt Solar Hybrid 1 project, ensuring compliance with company, lender and regulatory requirements while protecting people, assets and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the HSSE strategy and objectives aligned with project, lender, government and shareholder requirements.
• Develop and monitor HSSE performance metrics and targets.
• Lead the implementation of the Environmental and Social Management System, including crisis management guidelines.
• Plan, develop and communicate HSSE policies, procedures and reference manuals for design, operations and administration.
• Provide HSSE advice, guidance and support across the project lifecycle.
• Review new project studies (HSEIA, HAZOP, HAZID, HAZAN, QRA, fire protection) to identify HSSE requirements.
• Coordinate the social commitments team (livelihood restoration, stakeholder engagement, community development).

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HSSE for large infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSSE regulations, lender E&S requirements and industry best practices.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance across all project activities.
• Excellent crisis management and stakeholder communication skills.
