Industrial Quality Engineer

About the role

Alstom is seeking an Industrial Quality Engineer to join its Fez workshop. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process, supporting a low‑carbon mobility future.

Key responsibilities

• Manage industrial quality activities, KPI tracking and the IQ team.
• Stop production when a defect requires mandatory rework.
• Participate in process FMEA definition and maintain control plans.
• Validate customer approvals, documentation and product compliance before shipping.
• Lead line‑quality animation with cross‑functional teams and drive problem‑solving.
• Record inspection results, follow‑up actions and manage NCRs for non‑conforming items.
• Support manufacturing teams with self‑inspection, training and audits.
• Conduct internal monitoring audits and ensure action‑plan effectiveness.
• Participate in monthly KPI meetings and achieve APSYS scoring targets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or Industrial Engineering diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive or railway industry.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English.

Required skills

• Quality tools management (8D, QRQC, Ishikawa, 5 Why).
• FMEA creation and control‑plan management.
• NCR management and quality audit execution.
• KPI monitoring and reporting.
