About the role

The Metrology Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards across the plant, implementing calibration systems and supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Apply safety standards and adhere to V5000, IATF16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 using QRQC methodology.
• Develop and maintain plant‑wide calibration systems according to QS 9000, A2LA and other applicable standards.
• Calibrate, measure and analyse raw material tests and control equipment according to the calibration program.
• Prepare reports on test results, dimensional evaluations and calibrations.
• Conduct safety tests, inspections and report findings to relevant functions.
• Advise personnel on measurement, calibration and testing procedures.

Required profile

• Experience with ISO/IATF 16949, V5000 and related quality management systems.
• Ability to train peers (On‑the‑Job Training) and lead stop‑scrap procedures.
• Strong knowledge of calibration traceability to national and international standards.

Required skills

• Calibration of measurement and test equipment.
• Implementation of QRQC methodology.
• Compliance with ISO 14001, OHSAS18001 and related safety standards.
• Use of QS 9000 and American Association of Laboratory Accreditation standards.
