IT Specialist – Microsoft 365 & Automation

About the role

We are seeking an IT Specialist to join a small, dynamic IT team. Working closely with the IT Manager, you will own day‑to‑day IT operations, drive project delivery, and automate business processes using Microsoft 365 and Python.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Microsoft 365 / Office 365 solutions to meet collaboration, automation, and document‑management needs.
• Automate repetitive workflows with native Microsoft 365 tools and Python scripts/APIs.
• Lead IT projects: scope, gather requirements, facilitate workshops, track delivery, and manage change.
• Provide on‑site L1/L2 support, including laptop setup, peripheral installation, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Run the helpdesk, handle incidents, maintain documentation, and deliver user onboarding and training.
• Liaise with the leasing software vendor for configuration, issue reporting, and release follow‑up.
• Manage IT suppliers: contracts, SLA monitoring, quotations, and performance evaluation.
• Enforce Group IT security policies, manage access rights, and support audit preparation.

Required profile

• Solid experience in IT support, systems, and infrastructure management.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and share knowledge with end users.
• Strong analytical mindset for process improvement and automation.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 / Office 365 ecosystem (deployment, configuration, administration).
• On‑site L1/L2 device management (laptop, printer, Windows workstation).
• IT project management (requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, delivery tracking).
• Vendor management and SLA monitoring.
• IT security & Group Policy compliance.
• SQL query writing and optimisation (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Python development for automation (scripts, APIs, frameworks).
• Fluent French and technical English.
