About the role
Sohaara is looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer Intern to help create intuitive and visually appealing experiences for its web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to turn user needs into usable designs.
Key responsibilities
- Design user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create responsive layouts with clear navigation, consistent visual language, and adherence to design system guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers to explain design decisions, incorporate feedback, and prepare assets for handoff.
- Help maintain and evolve the company’s design system.
Required profile
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and visual consistency.
- Strong eye for typography, layout, spacing, and overall aesthetics.
- Ability to work with developers, explain design choices, and iterate based on feedback.
- Portfolio showcasing personal, academic, or professional design projects.
Required skills
- Figma
- Basic HTML/CSS (nice to have)
