Legal Counsel – Compliance (Global)

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Legal Counsel (Compliance) to join its global legal team. You will work closely with the Head of Legal Compliance, providing pragmatic advice to high‑risk country offices and supporting the development of compliance frameworks worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality legal and regulatory advice to country offices and global teams.
• Support the Head of Legal Compliance in strategy, planning and rollout of compliance frameworks.
• Represent the legal team in cross‑functional meetings and committees.
• Provide updates to the Audit & Risk Committee on legal compliance matters.
• Assist during humanitarian emergencies or organisational crises, adapting working hours as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in legal compliance and regulatory risk.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operations teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong analytical and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent English; right to work in the country of assignment.
