Legal Counsel – Program Delivery (International)

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Legal Counsel to support the delivery of its international programmes. You will join a dynamic global legal team, providing strategic advice to country offices and global teams across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise country offices on legal risks related to procurement, programming, awards, finance and contractual matters.
• Provide legal guidance to global teams on policy changes, transformation delivery, HR, partnerships, treasury and fundraising.
• Support governance requirements for a global organisation.
• Assist senior legal staff in managing contractual and risk‑related projects.
• Contribute to internal legal team initiatives such as training.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in international programme delivery or humanitarian contexts.
• Ability to work across diverse regions (Asia, Africa, Latin America, Middle East, Europe).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to adapt working hours during emergencies or crises.
