Legal Manager – Corporate & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified, business‑oriented Legal Manager to join Ciments du Maroc and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the Legal Director & Compliance Officer, you will provide strategic and operational legal support while helping to implement and continuously improve the Heidelberg Materials Group Compliance Program in Morocco.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver corporate and commercial legal advice to business units.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage the lifecycle of commercial contracts.
• Handle pre‑litigation, litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Implement, monitor and enhance the local compliance program.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Lead internal compliance investigations and incident management.
• Perform regulatory monitoring, legal impact assessments, and data‑privacy compliance.
• Develop and deliver compliance training, awareness initiatives, and reporting for audits.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Business Law, Corporate Law, Business Criminal Law, Compliance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Strong expertise in commercial/contract law, corporate litigation and compliance.
• Solid knowledge of anti‑corruption, competition law, sanctions, human rights and data‑protection frameworks.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management and legal risk assessment.
• Previous work in an international group or complex multi‑site organization is an asset.
• Experience in compliance investigations, training and awareness programs highly valued.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High integrity, professional ethics, discretion and confidentiality.
• Fluent in French and Arabic, with strong proficiency in English.
