Logistics Administrator

About the role

The Logistics Administrator ensures smooth movement of goods between suppliers and customers, coordinating transportation, inventory, and shipment records. This position supports cost‑effective delivery, compliance with regulations, and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Track and report logistics KPIs and prepare management reports.
• Coordinate transportation and shipping, schedule deliveries, and monitor arrival times.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Communicate order status and resolve logistics issues with customers.
• Monitor transportation costs, identify savings opportunities, and support cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimise storage and retrieval.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory and logistics processes.
• Analyse logistics data to identify trends and improve efficiency.
• Support logistics‑related projects, technology implementations, and stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or transportation roles.
• Familiarity with logistics software and supply chain management systems.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures and transportation laws.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and vendors.
• Ability to analyse data and generate performance reports.
