Machinist III

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Machinist III to join our production team. The successful candidate will set up, fabricate, assemble, maintain and test machine tools and equipment used for experimental and prototype development, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools according to established machining procedures.
• Fabricate and assemble prototype components to support product development from ideation to introduction.
• Perform quality checks on finished products, document defects and investigate root causes.
• Interpret blueprints and design documents to develop prototype models and create toolpaths.
• Conduct audits to verify availability of parts for building, repairing and testing.
• Monitor preventive maintenance, calibrate equipment and ensure routine service compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of related machining experience.
• High school diploma; vocational training or AA degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with diverse teams.

Required skills

• Blueprint interpretation.
• Toolpath creation from CAD models.
• Preventive maintenance and machine calibration.
• Quality inspection and defect documentation.
