Maintenance Technician – Wipers Activity

About the role

Valeo is looking for a Maintenance Technician dedicated to the Wipers activity. You will ensure the reliability, safety and performance of production equipment while supporting daily operations and new‑equipment industrialisation.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture, detect deviations, lead Safety QRQC and ensure compliance with Valeo and local standards.
• Develop technical expertise within the team, support skill transfer and maintain a stable workforce.
• Assist engineers during new‑equipment introduction, apply VSDP and IPROM standards, and provide feedback to design.
• Manage maintenance activities to reduce MTTR, increase MTBF, control the maintenance budget and drive productivity actions (P‑30).
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives: observe micro‑stoppages, run PDCA, FTA, 5 WHY analyses and prepare Kaizen cards.
