Manager Business Unit Agrochemicals

About the role

SCE is recruiting a Manager Business Unit Agrochemicals for its subsidiary Agri Trade Maroc, based at the Had Soualem site. The post reports directly to the Executive Vice President and covers sales strategy, partnerships, marketing plans, product development and competition monitoring. It is a permanent, full-time position with immediate availability.

Key responsibilities

• Propose and implement sales and development strategies, alliances with partners, customers and suppliers of raw materials, and manage the selected ones
• Draft marketing plans and objectives, report on progress, manage a profile centre and develop new products
• Monitor the competition and administrative matters, and supervise the sales administration team (regional sales managers, store managers, purchasing manager)
• Interact with customers, suppliers, carriers, advertising agencies, trade associations and government bodies such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry
• Visit key accounts, guide sales visits and monitor sales trends and variable costs by product and customer
• Prepare sales budgets, report to the General Manager and follow up customer complaints and disputed receivables
• Prospect for new customers and suppliers, bid on tenders and prepare supply offers
• Negotiate contracts for raw materials, packaging, logistics and services, and technical specifications with customers and suppliers
• Approve credit notes and trade discounts, set sales prices and payment terms, and supervise invoicing, deliveries, purchasing and storage of trading products
• Contribute to supply and manufacturing schedules, prepare market and profitability studies, and supervise advertising and external communications

Required profile

• Degree in Agricultural Engineering
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the same or a similar position
• Leadership, communication, team management, customer orientation and initiative
