Manufacturing Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our production team. The role focuses on real‑time defect prevention, quality control of injection‑molded parts and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the Quality Management System in line with IATF 16949.
• Conduct regular inspections of injection molding processes and perform visual checks for defects such as air pockets, warping, or surface imperfections.
• Use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensional accuracy of molded components.
• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor process variability and identify trends.
• Investigate root causes of quality issues, collaborating with production, engineering and maintenance teams.
• Implement corrective actions, update work instructions and document all findings.
• Generate reports on defect rates, scrap rates and process capability indices and communicate metrics to stakeholders.
• Propose and execute process improvements to reduce cycle times, waste and enhance overall product quality.
• Provide training to operators on inspection techniques and defect‑prevention strategies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in quality control within an injection‑molding environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on accurate problem solving.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality tools such as FMEA, Pareto analysis and DOE.
• Excellent communication skills for effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to precise documentation.
