M&E and Research Field Manager – Morocco

About the role

STOOS Consulting, an international firm specializing in research, assessments, third‑party monitoring and capacity building, is looking for an experienced M&E and Research Field Manager based in Morocco. The role will support upcoming research, assessment, evaluation and monitoring assignments, ensuring high‑quality data collection and timely delivery across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate field activities with local authorities, civil society organisations and community representatives.
• Recruit, train and supervise field teams, ensuring adherence to methodological standards.
• Manage data collection processes, conduct quality checks and guarantee data integrity.
• Obtain necessary local authorisations and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and deliverables, reporting progress to the central team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation or research field management, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan administrative procedures and local stakeholder landscapes.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French (or Arabic).

Required skills

• Experience with M&E frameworks and methodologies.
• Familiarity with data quality assurance and validation techniques.
• Proficiency in coordinating multi‑regional field operations.
